Hinai (比内町; -machi) was a town located in Kitaakita District, Akita, Japan.
On June 20, 2005, the towns of Hinai and Tashiro, both from Kitaakita District, were merged into the city of Ōdate.
In 2003, the town had an estimated population of 11,665 and a density of 56.79 persons per km². The total area was 205.39 km².
